Missing for 2 weeks

Wow. You forget to put on the student hat for 2 weeks and there is a lot to catch up on. Though I have done a closed caption video in the past for other project, I am working on one that will fit within the topic as assigned for our class.

Meanwhile, I have enjoyed classmates posting their videos and there seems to be a common theme of taking care of ourselves amidst the stress of life.  I have been able to adjust my daily schedule to allow for some early early morning exercise before work. To do so, it meant giving up "unwinding" time each night, but the early morning rides are well worth starting the day out right.

Additionally, if you haven't heard, my wife and I are expecting our second child due in November this year. So LIFE is getting very busy, but living day by day makes every minute worth while.

  1. Congratulations on the new addition!

My oldest is just finishing her first year at college, and my youngest just took her SAT's! They'll be grown before you know it, and I am totally with you on living day to day.

Design comments: I like the color scheme here quite a bit. At first, I didn't like the dark overlay, but it has grown on me. :) The light text on the black looks both crisp and soothing. My only drawback is that I have to scroll to the right to see the info there in the column. I don't know what causes this, as some webpages "fit" and others don't.

  2. Thanks Karen. Some web pages use a % rather than a fixed width. You can change your blogger settings to % but it requires too much work. Almost all monitors these days are "Rectangular" but if you are still using a "square" shape then yeah you will have to scroll..

  3. Congratulations Kevin! This is happy news.
Thanks for the information on formatting, pages vs RSS feeds, and web browsers. Lots of things to practice and learn!
